Dante’s Inferno Beef & Black Bean Chilli
🔥 Dante’s Inferno Beef & Black Bean Chilli
This deep, slow-simmered beef and black bean chilli is exactly the sort of dish that can carry the serious heat of Dante’s Inferno. Tomato, beans and cocoa build richness, while a cautious ¼ teaspoon brings a warm burn that develops as it cooks.
Heat warning: Dante’s Inferno contains ghost pepper. Begin with the stated minimum, avoid touching your eyes and wash your hands and utensils thoroughly after handling.

🍽️ Serving Suggestions
Add avocado, grated cheese or lime wedges. It tastes even better the next day, when the flavour has deepened—remember that the chilli heat may deepen too.
💛 Why This Recipe Works
Browning the beef creates savoury depth, and cocoa softens the sharp edge of the tomato. Beans and cooling toppings make the ghost-pepper heat satisfying rather than punishing.
🧂 Try It With
Build extra flavour with Ground Cumin and Smoked Paprika. Add them for aroma and depth rather than using more Inferno simply for heat.
