This simple and delicious Bangalore Yoghurt Marinade is your new BBQ best mate. It’s creamy, tangy, and packed with vibrant South Indian heat from our handcrafted Bangalore Curry Blend. Just whisk it together, coat your chicken, tofu, paneer or veg, and let the spices do all the work.

🥣 Ingredients
  • 200g plain yoghurt (Greek or natural)
  • 2 tbsp Bangalore Curry Blend
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely grated or crushed
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or rapeseed oil
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Fresh coriander or mint, chopped (optional)
⏱ Prep & Marinate Time
  • Prep time: 5–10 minutes
  • Marinate time: 30 minutes–overnight
  • Cook time: 10–20 minutes (depending on method)
🍳 How to Make
  1. Add the yoghurt to a bowl and whisk until smooth.
  2. Stir in the Bangalore Curry Blend, garlic, lemon juice and oil.
  3. Add honey or maple syrup if using, then season with salt.
  4. Mix well to create a thick, rich marinade.
  5. Add chicken, tofu, paneer or veg and coat evenly.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight.
  7. Grill, BBQ, roast or air fry until charred and cooked through.
  8. Finish with fresh coriander or mint before serving.
