🔥 Bangalore Fire Chicken Curry (Extra Hot!)

If you love big flavour and serious heat, this Bangalore Fire Chicken Curry is for you. Made with our extra-hot Bangalore Curry Blend, it brings the bold warmth of South Western India straight to your table — rich, punchy, and surprisingly simple to make at home.

🧾 Ingredients

  • 500g chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp Bangalore Curry Blend
  • 1 onion, finely sliced
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 tbsp ginger paste
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 200ml coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp tomato purée
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Fresh coriander, to serve

⏱ Prep & Cook Time

  • Prep time: 15 minutes
  • Cook time: 30 minutes
  • Serves: 3–4

🍳 Method

  1. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Fry the onion until soft and golden.
  2. Add garlic and ginger paste; cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the Bangalore Curry Blend and fry gently for 1 minute to release its aroma.
  4. Add the chicken and cook until lightly browned all over.
  5. Tip in the chopped tomatoes and tomato purée. Stir well and simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Pour in the coconut milk, lower the heat and cook for 15–20 minutes until the chicken is tender and the sauce thickens.
  7. Season with salt and scatter over fresh coriander to finish.

🍽 Serving Suggestions

  • Steamed basmati rice, warm naan or soft chapatis
  • A cooling spoonful of yoghurt or simple cucumber raita to balance the heat
