🔥 Bangalore Coconut Dal
This rich and creamy Bangalore Coconut Dal is perfect for anyone who loves bold South Indian flavours. Made with our handcrafted Bangalore Curry Blend, it balances vibrant heat, deep aroma and silky coconut cream — naturally plant-based, simple to make, and ideal for weeknights, meal prep or cosy evenings.

🧾 Ingredients
  • 1 cup red lentils, rinsed
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 2 tbsp Bangalore Curry Blend
  • 400ml coconut milk
  • 500ml vegetable stock or water
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • Salt, to taste
  • Fresh coriander, to serve

🍳 How to Make
  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and cook the onion until soft and lightly golden.
  2. Add garlic, turmeric and Bangalore Curry Blend; stir for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the rinsed lentils, coconut milk and vegetable stock.
  4. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 20–25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thick and creamy.
  5. Season with salt and squeeze in the lemon juice.
  6. Top with fresh coriander and serve warm.
