Thai Seven Spice Pork Lettuce Cups
Thai Seven Spice Pork Lettuce Cups are fresh, crunchy and made for sharing. Warm aromatic pork is spooned into crisp lettuce leaves and topped with herbs, spring onions and lime for a relaxed meal that everyone can assemble at the table.
Made with our Thai Seven Spice Blend, it is an easy way to bring fragrant Southeast Asian-inspired flavour to everyday cooking.
🥣 Ingredients
- 500g pork mince
- 2 tsp Thai Seven Spice Blend
- 2 little gem lettuces, leaves separated
- 1 red pepper, finely diced
- 225g tin water chestnuts, drained and chopped
- 3 spring onions, sliced
- 2 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- Fresh coriander and crushed peanuts, to serve
🍳 Instructions
- Heat the oil in a large frying pan over a medium-high heat. Add the pork mince and cook for 6–8 minutes, breaking it up, until browned.
- Add the Thai Seven Spice Blend and red pepper. Stir-fry for another 3 minutes.
- Add the water chestnuts, spring onions, soy sauce and honey. Cook for 2–3 minutes until glossy and piping hot.
- Stir through the lime juice and taste, adding a little more soy sauce if needed.
- Arrange the lettuce leaves on a serving platter and spoon the pork mixture into each one.
- Finish with coriander, crushed peanuts and extra lime wedges.

🍽️ Serving Suggestions
Serve with jasmine rice or noodles for a more substantial meal. Chopped cashews, sesame seeds or crispy onions also make excellent toppings.
