Moroccan Tagine Beef Meatballs in Tomato Sauce brings warm North African-inspired flavour to an approachable home-cooked meal. Our Moroccan Tagine Spice Blend creates aromatic depth without needing a cupboard full of separate spices.

🥣 Ingredients

  • 500g beef mince
  • 2½ tbsp Moroccan Tagine Spice Blend
  • 1 small onion, grated
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 400g tin chopped tomatoes
  • 1 red pepper, diced
  • 1 tbsp tomato purée
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh parsley
  • Cous cous, to serve

🍳 How to Make It

  1. Mix the beef with half the seasoning and grated onion. Shape into 16 meatballs.
  2. Brown the meatballs in the oil, then transfer to a plate.
  3. Cook the pepper and garlic for 5 minutes. Add the tomato purée and remaining seasoning.
  4. Add the tomatoes and meatballs. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes, then uncover for 5 minutes.
  5. Finish with parsley and serve with cous cous.
