Moroccan Tagine Beef Meatballs in Tomato Sauce brings warm North African-inspired flavour to an approachable home-cooked meal. Our Moroccan Tagine Spice Blend creates aromatic depth without needing a cupboard full of separate spices.
🥣 Ingredients
- 500g beef mince
- 2½ tbsp Moroccan Tagine Spice Blend
- 1 small onion, grated
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 400g tin chopped tomatoes
- 1 red pepper, diced
- 1 tbsp tomato purée
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh parsley
- Cous cous, to serve
🍳 How to Make It
- Mix the beef with half the seasoning and grated onion. Shape into 16 meatballs.
- Brown the meatballs in the oil, then transfer to a plate.
- Cook the pepper and garlic for 5 minutes. Add the tomato purée and remaining seasoning.
- Add the tomatoes and meatballs. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes, then uncover for 5 minutes.
- Finish with parsley and serve with cous cous.
