Hot Mixed Sweet Spice Chai Latte
This easy chai latte fills the kitchen with the scent of warm spice and takes only a few minutes to make. Instead of measuring several separate spices, Mixed Sweet Spices brings cinnamon, clove, fennel, coriander, ginger and nutmeg together in a beautifully rounded blend.
Adjust the sweetness to suit you and use dairy or plant-based milk—the gentle simmer creates a creamy, soothing drink either way.
🧾 Ingredients
- 250ml water
- 500ml milk or unsweetened plant-based milk

- 1½ tsp Mixed Sweet Spices
- 2–3 tsp honey, maple syrup or brown sugar, to taste

- Pour in the milk and warm gently for 4–5 minutes. Do not allow it to boil vigorously.
- Remove the tea bags. Stir in the honey or sugar and vanilla, if using.

💛 Why This Recipe Works
Simmering the spice briefly in water extracts its aroma before the milk is added. The result is fragrant and rounded, while the fine sieve keeps every sip smooth.
🌿 Try It With
Add a small piece of Cinnamon Stick while simmering, or deepen the ginger note with a pinch of Ground Ginger.
