Korma-Spiced Lamb Meatballs
Golden lamb meatballs simmered in a creamy aromatic sauce make a cosy korma-inspired dinner that is ideal for sharing with rice and flatbreads.

🧂 Ingredients
- 500g lamb mince
- 2½ tbsp Korma Masala
- 1 small onion, half grated and half finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 400ml coconut milk
- 150ml lamb or vegetable stock
- 2 tbsp natural yoghurt
- Fresh coriander, to serve
🔪 Method
- Mix the lamb with the grated onion and 1 tbsp Korma Masala. Shape into 16 even meatballs.
- Heat the oil in a deep frying pan and brown the meatballs for 6–8 minutes, turning regularly. Transfer to a plate.
- Cook the chopped onion for 5 minutes, then add the garlic and remaining Korma Masala for 30 seconds.
- Pour in the coconut milk and stock, return the meatballs and simmer gently for 15 minutes until cooked through.
- Remove from the heat, swirl through the yoghurt and scatter with coriander.
🍽️ Serving Suggestions
- Serve with rice, couscous or warm flatbreads.
- Add roasted carrots or green beans alongside.
- Make smaller meatballs for a sharing platter.
